January 10, 2022 Plano, Texas Week 24-Transfer News
Buenas Días!☀️
Saturday night we got a call asking if I could speak in church on Sunday. I think it went pretty well and we had a couple people come to church which was awesome!
TRASLADOS (TRANSFERS)
We got transfer news! I'm going to Mount Pleasant woohoo. It's a bilingual area which will be cool so I think we have an English ward and a spanish group. Hermana Allred is my companion and she seems awesome!
LECCIONES
We went over to see Luisa who ended up being in Margarita's apartment so we went over there and Carlos was there too! We taught the plan of happiness so Luisa and the other two were there for different parts of it which was awesome AND Alicia (a member of our ward) showed up and shared her beautiful testimony of God and the plan that he has for us. So cool! Also we taught Margarita the Restoration and I said the first vision in spanish for the first time! We set a date for her to be baptized February 12th!
EL VOLEIBOL 🏐
We played volleyball this week since it's really cold outside. Maribel's daughters are in Utah right now where it's snowing and they said it's colder here because of the humidity! Volleyball was so fun though and we had quite a few of our people come who we are teaching!
EL SERVICIO
We painted Cente's house!! We shared a message with him after and it was honestly a very sweet and tender moment about how families can be together forever.
PENSAMIENTO ESPIRITUAL
I had a really cool experience in my personal studies this week about God's timing. I know God puts people and words in our direction in the times that we need them the most. Sometimes Satan will try to get in the way of that and distract us from what is really important but this week I realized that all that matters is our faith in God. We can accomplish so much more if we just simply put our trust and faith into him.
Thank you for reading my email! I'm currently playing the guitar right now which I am super happy about! Have a great week!

Hi friends & family!
Plano is good. We have transfers next week and my guess is that I'm leaving the area. We are trying to expect the unexpected so we think President will put Elders in our area instead. I have had two people now tell me that they think I'm going to Nacogdoches and apparently it's crazy there. I'll honestly probably go somewhere I haven't even heard of though. We'll see what happens!
EXCHANGES
I went to Farmersville this week with Sister Palmer which was pretty good. We did some street contacting and talked to 4 people in Spanish.
SOCCER
We played soccer on Saturday and holy cow it was freezing. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and my legs were bright red after. It was so fun though and we had some people come that we invited through Facebook!
RANDOM MIRACLE
We reached out to a member who hasn't been to church in a while and she was so willing to meet us and she even made us dinner which was so sweet.
SPANISH TUTORING
We thought this guy wanted English class so we were texting him in Spanish and when we called him he was actually this guy who spoke perfectly good English and was just translating everything we were saying and he asked us to teach his daughter Spanish. So we taught this really sweet 8yr old girl spanish!!
CHURCH MIRACLE
Last week none of our friends came to church but yesterday we had 5 people come!! There is this sweet family with a little girl and our friend Pedro who brought one of his friends and Leonardo! ALSO we started teaching Mónica this week who is so cool.
This week was pretty good. I hope you all are doing well and happy new year (:

December 27 Plano, Texas Week 22-🌻🌻🌻🌻
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Ours was pretty good, full of lots of miracles!!
BAPTISM
Iker was baptized!! It was so special and sweet. His mom went all out in decorations and it honestly was so beautiful. Hermana Peterson and I both gave talks and it was awesome (: ALSO our district all had a baptism so having 3 in one day (on christmas) was incredible.
CAROLING
Our district got to go caroling together and it was pretty cool! We met a very nice family who gave us gingerbread men and said that they haven't heard carolers in years so it was pretty fun! We also got to play games as a district which was nice and we did a gift exchange. I got a blanket with lots of pigs, dogs, and cows wearing sweaters and boots.
CHINESE WARD
After church on Sunday we started driving home and then the bishop of the Chinese texted us and asked if we could share our testimonies. So... we pulled over and said once again "we'll walk." So to save our miles we walked back to the church. When we got there he announced that his speaker got pretty sick last second so we had to take up lots of time haha. But it went so well! Last week we sang in their ward last second also haha but we love it (:
LESSONS
On Sunday night we called someone and ended up having a lesson with her and that also was super good! We scheduled to talk to her again this week!
Well it was a pretty special week and we even saw horse drawn carriages in this neighborhood and we talked to our families on Christmas which was so sweet! Well I love you all so much and hope you have a wonderful week!❤

December 20, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 21 HaPpY HoLiDaYs🎄Merry Christmas!!
I hope you all had a great week! Ours was pretty busy but here are a few happy Moments from Plano:
ZONE CONFERENCE
We had Zone Conference on Thursday which was a huge mix of emotions! I had to say goodbye to Hermana Ray since she's leaving for Argentina! I also got to see some missionaries from my last district which was sooo fun!! We also decorated cookies and did a fun gift exchange!! At one point I had a tie but President switched me haha. I ended up with a decoration in the shape of Texas that says Texas Dallas East Mission which was awesome (:
FARMSTEAD
We did some street contacting at Farmstead while looking at all the lights! They even had a longhorn. Hna Peterson and I actually met two families speaking Spanish which was super cool!
LESSONS
So we met Luisa who has been here for a few months and her husband just moved here this week from Venezuela. They are awesome and we+ had a couple lessons with them. She lives kinda far from us but one day we went to visit and she wasn't home or responding to us so we decided to visit her friend Margarita who lives in the same complex. We ended up teaching Margarita and her friends Zelanda (who has been taught in the past) and Rosanna. Literally so cool!! God's timing is perfect.
SPANISH
So I have been saying this phrase the last couple months, "Estoy orgulloso" and I keep hearing that it's wrong but I just confirmed with Ever that it is actually correct and I am very happy about it.
This week we have Iker's baptism on the 25th and this guy named Clement (pronounced in french) who the Elders have been teaching and the other elders just scheduled one the same day for Sandra!! This is such a special time of the year and I wish you all a wonderful time with your family and friends. YAY!!
Con amor,

Hi everyone,
This transfer our district had a goal of not going to the hospital ... we may have ended up in the ER otra vez... but everything is okay! Hna Ray crashed her bike and needed to get stiches on her chin but she is doing good. She leaves for Argentina this Thursday!! I'm honestly really sad she's leaving but SO excited for her. You know what's so cool? All five of us (hermanas) are from different states! Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, California, and Utah.
LESSONS
We had some amazing lessons this week. On Saturday we met with Leonardo and had a big group of people join us. I'm starting to realize that leading a lesson/teaching doesn't have to be so scary and you can just ask lots of inspired questions. We also had a really good lesson with the Carrillo family and they are so excited for his baptism!
TEMPLE
We had a member offer to take us to the temple on Tuesday which was such a blessing. It was smaller than I thought it would be considering that it's in Texas, but so beautiful.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
Our ward party was so fun! There were lots of beautiful lights and decorations with a sweet little program. Las misioneras got to sing "Oh, pueblecito de Belén." We practiced it once but it went alright😅
FUNNY
The hermanas needed our car one day for a meeting so we really said, "okay we'll walk." (Keep in mind Hna P's helmet was left in the car) so we walked over 6 miles to the church!
I hope you all have a great week!! Merry almost Christmas! 🎄
Love,
Hermana Cutler
Ps. I learned that tripeleta is what you would say for a hatrick in soccer!!

December 6, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 19-Miracles All Around
Hello friends & family!
This week honestly felt super long and it feels like forever since we had transfers even though it was Tuesday!
Lately I have been praying a lot to know my purpose here in Plano for and this week I have recieved my answers in such incredible ways thanks to the amazing people that I have served with and the people that I have taught. I've been trying to keep my eyes open for miracles and I have seen a significant change with the Lord's hand in my life.
New District
Our new district is pretty cool! It's so weird for there to only be 6 of us now... definitely a big adjustment but it'll be good! We watched our mission conference which was really good and the devotional on Sunday!
Miracles
La familia Carrillo came to church. So incredible! Samuel also came to church and he has a really cool story about how we were prompted to call him a while ago and met with him at church. Guess what happened next... hermano Carrillo and Samuel both got up to share their testimonies in front of of ward. Both of them! The spirit was so strong and they both have so much faith in God. After the meeting, we talked to them and scheduled Iker's baptism for la navidad😊 and we also met with Leonardo on Saturday with some Elders who gave him a blessing and he is now getting baptized the 18th (:
Lots of changes this week but I know that there's a specific plan that Heavenly Father has in store. I love you guys! Have a wonderful week!
Love,

November 29, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 18-Confía en Dios 🌻
Hola Hola!
I hope you all had an amazing week! I gave a training to my district last Tuesday which actually wasn't too shabby (I think) and the topic was exactly what I needed to study personally so that was pretty cool.
Transfers
I am staying in Plano West with Hermana Peterson! BUT they split our district... so now instead of 11, there are 6 of us. The hermanas aren't in ours anymore and we have a new district Leader... crazy!! I'm so grateful for the district I had for my first couple transfers. I learned so much from all of them and they are such incredible examples to me.
Miracle
We walked to a park for our Studies and I was holding up my libro and this guy waves then turns at the intersection to the parking lot and stops us. He says "eres Hermanas??" And I'm like sí!! He asked us for an extra Libro and stopped to talk to us even though there were cars waiting behind him!
Thanksgiving
We played soccer and there were triple the amount of people as normal! Then we had lunch with a member which was awesome and we got to meet some of her friends and family. We also had dinner with another member which was really sweet!
La familia Carrillo/exchanges
Honestly exchanges were super nice because Sister Palmer came to Plano and so I was leading the area and also had to to be the only one speaking Spanish in all of our lessons and phone calls. It went so well though! We visited the Carrillo family and it was one of the most incredible experiences i've had so far in the mission. They said we could speak English so that sister palmer could understand. After the lesson Hermano Carrillo looked at me and started crying while saying in Spanish how grateful he was for us visiting their family and for inviting the spirirt into his home. Then he brought up that he was going to bring his son to church and they showed up on Sunday and when he talked to me he cried again thanking us for our work and honestly, that is exactly why I want to be here.
Thanks everyone for reading this and for being so supportive. It means the world to me and I hope you have an amazing week!
Love,

November 22, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 17-"Hello Elders, and Sister?"
Happy Thanksgiving week!
So last week both of my companions were sick so I got to start driving! One of them passed out in district council so we took her to the ER and were there for 4hrs. They only let one of us go inside so I had to sit outside with the Elders until one of our leaders got there. This guy walks outside and goes Hi Elders! Then does a double take and looks at me like "and, Sister?"🤦♀️ but my companions are okay and we sent Hermana Bean to Oklahoma for her emergency transfer the next morning.
Victor
We visited Victor in the hospital and Hermana Peterson goes "hey is that your guitar? Can Hna Cutler play it?" And he said yes so I played a very very out of tune guitar while Hermana Peterson sang Peace in Christ.
Baptism
The hermanas had a baptism on Friday for a 9 yr old named Leo. He loves playing soccer with all of us and we sang a musical number for his baptism too!
Blessing
At church yesterday we were planning to stay all day and we didn't have a dinner plan but then the bishop of the Chinese group randomly gave us a bag of food for dinner which was so incredibly nice!
Testimony
I know that God has a perfect plan. We are all here for a reason and we go through the things that we do so we can grow and turn to Him for help.
Have a good week everyone!
Love,
Hermana Cutler

November 15, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 16- Expect The Unexpected...
Buenos Días🌻
Hermana Bean is leaving again‼️ it's always the last two weeks of the transfer... the Assistants to the President called us on Wednesday saying that Hermana Bean is being emergency transferred this Monday to Durant, Oklahoma to be a Sister Training Leader because another missionary is going to their original assignment in Tahiti. Apparently she knew this for a week and didn't tell us!! Well President asked her not to but still crazy!
Training Grad
I graduated this week from being a trainee, even though I technically have 2 weeks left. We did 2 role plays by ourselves (mine was in spanish). I even got a certificate so it's legit! I also got to see Sister Warr (Carly)!! This is her last transfer so I'm lucky I had the chance to see her! We also had zone conference that day so I got to hear her testimony as well since she's leaving and it was so so beautiful.
Miracle
We visited la familia Carrillo one night. When we got there they all had their pajamas on and getting ready for bed but every single one of them sat at their dining room table and invited us to come inside. They are apart of the church but their 9 year old hasn't been baptized yet so we had the chance to teach him. Honestly I was a little nervous about making it clear and simple enough in Spanish for him to understand but it went so well and I could strongly feel the spirirt as we were talking with this incredible family.
Victor
We went to see Victor in the hospital a couple times this week. All the doctors love that we visit him but there's one nurse who has hid his Bible and book of Mormon from him before... and he can't walk so it's really sad! Last time we decided to go in the morning for once and she asked us to leave... but all is well we respected her request but the coolest part was that Victor said (in spanish) "you know I read about this in the Bible where people will do everything they can to hide the truth" and we were like yes it's so true remember that!!
John
Francisco's brother is praying about a date for his baptism (: we had some good lessons with him this week and he even went to visit Victor with us! We also gave him and Francisco pop rocks since they've never heard of them and it was pretty funny...
Service
We helped at the stake activity on Saturday. It was a emergency preparedness fair to get ready for the weather this year because apparently it's supposed to be just as bad!
This week was pretty good and the Elder in my district got back from the hospital and has taken a few days to get better so thank you for your prayers. I love you all, have a good week!
Love,
Hermana Cutler

November 8, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 15- A Catchy Phrase
Feliz lunes!
Kind of another crazy week. I'm learning a lot about how important it is to put your trust in God because honestly a lot of things are out of our control and we can't even begin to comprehend the power God has. Also I forgot to mention we sang last week in sacrament meeting. "Venid a mi" 😊 also Hna Bean told me to title this a Catchy Phrase because I had no idea what to name it.
Exchanges
I went to Farmersville with Sister Palmer. She also played soccer growing up so that was super nice to have someone to relate to. We had 5 lessons planned, one in Spanish (she doesn't speak Spanish so would have just been me teaching) but that one didn't end up happening sadly. I got to meet some awesome people!
Lessons
We met with Samuel. He is a miracle. A few weeks ago Hna Peterson said we should call a Josefina so we found one and called her and Samuel (her husband) answered and decided to come back to church that week. In our lesson last Saturday he told us how heard by God he felt that day and when Hna Bean and I sat on both sides of him in church he felt like he was protected from God and honestly that was the highlight of my week. On one of our visits to see our friend in the hospital, he decided to be baptized on December 4th so it has been pretty exciting to plan that and hear his testimony.
Prayers please
One of our elders has been in the hospital for the last couple of nights, if you guys could please pray for him that would be wonderful, thank you.
Random stories
It has been so cold! We wore our coats and lots of layers one day and it actually turned out to be kind of hot while biking, but then that night it was freezing! Also started piano lessons again this week which has been cool! I also have been carving soap for fun. I made a bunny, duck, and a soccer ball (:
I love you all so much and I hope you have a beautiful week.
Love,
Hermana Cutler
Happy late Halloween 👻🍬🎃
This week was amazing. I love Texas and I don't know how I could express my love for the people any more than I have. I have been super busy but all I have to say is God is so good. Miracles are real.
We were supposed to be home by 6pm on Saturday and Sunday but because we had our ward party and English class we got a ride from a member.
El día de los muertos:
Our ward activity was pretty sweet. It was a family history activity and we had one of our friends attend. Hermano Molina showed him a video about joesph Smith and it was just so cool.

Saturday we recieved a referall. We called him and he just broke into tears, talking about how he had an eye opening experience and wanted to bring God into his life. Sunday we visited him in the hospital and it was just so incredible. Even the doctors have been confused by the results and he has been doing so much better. He had a dream that we were teaching him about Christ and he only trusts our prayers. I know everything happens for a reason and I know there are so many miracles every day and it's just a matter of noticing them. We are visiting him again tonight and he just has such a kind heart.
Meals:
Sooo it finally happened. I had Sweet potatoes and some of you (Kenna and brenden) know I hate sweet potatoes😅 The hard part about eating with the members is they get offended if you don't eat all the food they give you. They are seriously amazing cooks though!! Also story time: we had mushrooms at one of our meals and I was doing my very best to eat them but when Irma wasnt looking Hermana Bean just spun my plate around and tried to eat as many as she could, that's comp unity right there!!😂
Well I love you all so much and I could go on and on about literally everything. Have an amazing week and I'll talk to you next time😊
Love,
Hermana Cutler

Hermana Cutler

This week was amazing. I love Texas and I don't know how I could express my love for the people any more than I have. I have been super busy but all I have to say is God is so good. Miracles are real.
We were supposed to be home by 6pm on Saturday and Sunday but because we had our ward party and English class we got a ride from a member.
El día de los muertos:
Our ward activity was pretty sweet. It was a family history activity and we had one of our friends attend. Hermano Molina showed him a video about joesph Smith and it was just so cool.

October 25, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 13-The Return of Hna Bean
Buenos Días mis amigos!
I hope you all had a good week. I'm starting to realize it's almost November and still feels like summer here, it's crazy!
I got a phone call Monday night from the APs saying that Hermana Bean is coming back!! Sooo I am still in a trio with Hermana Peterson (from Southern Cali) and Hermana Bean! This week was weird adjusting back to Plano West but I have to admit I missed it. We also have Elder Shrader (from Idaho Falls-IFHS) and Elder Paxman.
Monday we had a halloween/ birthday party for a couple Elders in our district. I got ready for the day then realized I needed a costume. I was wearing an orange dress, so a pumpkin was the best choice.🎃
Tuesday night I talked to Adriana on the phone again and we shared a scripture with her. Then Wednesday night we called someone named Josefina. Her husband, Samuel answered and said he would like to come to church so he showed up on Sunday! It was awesome! He also asked to meet with us sometime this week so I'm really looking forward to that.
On Thursday we went to Lornas and Hna Ray and I cleaned out all of her bins in a huge tub. We also found a hugeee spider and it was so thick. Friday we went to Farmstead and cleaned out the pig pen. Saturday we went to Irmas and put a ton of granite in her shed and holy cow it was heavy. Let's just say now I realize why I'm getting up at 6:30 to workout every morning.
On Saturday we had soccer whoop whoop. We had 3 people show up to church on Sunday who haven't been in a while which was incredible.
We are singing next Sunday in sacrament so I'm also looking forward to that and our trunk or treat activity!!
Welp love you guys have a good week!

October 11, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 11-Good Morning!🌻
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to my family and friends celebrating today!!🤗
This week was pretty chaotic. We are in charge of two areas right now and I've been sleeping on the couch (which is comfy and I'm tired enough it honestly doesn't matter haha). Transfers are next week so I'm going to most likely have another trainer!
My first week in Plano East- on ONE bike ride I finally got to meet Sean, the guy who carries his pet rats around (he was kissing one of them as we rode by on our bikes) then this lady threatened to throw rocks at us from her car window, then these guys cat called us... keep in mind we were very sweaty and as modest as can be. Then I got stung by a bee but all is well haha!
Last night there was a tornado watch. The sky actually looked kinda orange, it was cool but scary at the same time. It was super windy and there was a lightning storm.
I got to wash horses on Saturday at Lorna's house!! It was super fun. The funniest part was when they ran back into the field they rolled over in all the hay!
Okay my first week here i met an Elder DeMille (He's an AP in the mission) and I was like okay he kinda looks like the DeMilles but there's no way... so I didn't ask! Finally this week I found out that he is related to them😂 So that blew my mind.
We started meeting with Miguel this week. He's been going to all of our church activities but it's kind of hard to tell what he's thinking. He mumbles when he speaks too which does not help with understanding his Spanish... Ramón has been right but he just tries to prove a lot of things to us and be the one to teach but there's not really any progress. I finally got to talk to his wife Martha and she's so sweet!
Welp love you all and hope you have an amazing week!

Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a good week. It was pretty good here in Plano. It's getting a little cold but all the fall decorations are coming out!
Training Grad-
Hermana Ray graduated from being a trainee. We went to graduation and they do role plays so they can practice teaching other people. I was sitting next to Hermana Stevens because she was going to be taught by one of the graduates and then they needed an extra person so I was one of them... so I was a trainer before I even graduated as a trainee!
Exchanges-
We had exchanges this week and Hna Ray and I stayed in Plano and we had Hna Hogan stay with us. Hna Stevens's tire popped so we had to get it fixed the next morning. Lorna took us to the bike shop which was super nice.
Craziness-
From Monday to Sunday almost every single thing was flipped around. All our lessons canceled, including dinner. Saturday we were able to go to soccer which was sweet and we were able to say goodbye to Javier before he left to Mexico! He gave us all of his drawings of Christ which were incredible. Also we are done with Estudios Dominicales and our last one was pretty sweet!
Transfers-
We have transfers tomorrow! I found out last night and guess what... my first transfer news and every missionary got an email with only 4 letters. No news at all! So all missionaries were waiting for forever until our DL called us and gave us the news. I'm going back to Plano West with Hermana Peterson! She seems awesome and I get to meet her in person tomorrow, so basically I'm leading the area woo-hoo! Hermana Ray is staying in Plano East and Hermana Stevens is going to an English area in sulfer springs.
Funny moment-
I was talking about how everything was being canceled and I said "there's no way language study can be canceled..." and then we were asked to have a meeting right then so we had to postpone it. That sums up the week😂
This week was honestly sooo crazy but I'll save some stories for after the mission. Thanks for reading! I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Love,
Hermana Cutler

October 4, 2021 Plano, Texas 2021 Week 10-Trio Life!!
Good morning everyone!
This week contained a lot of conferences. On Wednesday we had Zone conference which was pretty good and then general conference was this weekend! Sooo good! Loved literally all of the talks. President Nelson is just incredible and the amount of love and light he has when he speaks is inspiring. I also loved the comment from Alvin E Meredith to "look down the road then you will drive straight," meaning that if we focus on our purpose and where we want to be someday, then we can work on them now to make sure we get there.
Yes Hermana Bean left and yes I am in a trio. She's getting nose surgery and hopefully will be back in a couple weeks. My dad had the same surgery and I'm pretty sure he went back to work that day or the day after so that's what I'm hoping for😂
Also was it just me or was Tanner Whitehead singing in the BYU choir in the Saturday night session?? Hna Bean was like oh I know that girl! And I was like hmm I never know anybody in the choirs but THEN I saw Tanner and was like wait I know him!!!! So that was pretty cool.
I'm trying to learn Spanish soccer phrases so if anybody knows let me know. I learned "lleva cola" on Saturday so that's good.
Hilda. She's awesome. We met her this week and she has such a strong testimony about Christ already which is incredible and we've been talking to her about prayer a lot because she loves it. The amount of love she has for her grandchildren is so tender.
Lorna. She's really cool. The missionaries have been helping her for years so we go to her house and help her with anything she needs, usually in the yard.
I was working on a puzzle this week. It's the picture of christ reaching his arm out into the water. I finished it on Saturday then found out I have to move into the other Hermanas apartment so I sadly put it away. It'll be fun though I'm excited to see how trio life goes!! We also are over TWO areas now so we are going to be so busy!
Thanks for reading. You guys are the best!

September 27, 2021 Plano, Texas 2021 Week 9-El Bautismo de Francisco (:
Welcome back,
This week was kind of crazy. Monday we went to Gabriella's house to help her cook dinner so we went to the store with her and she showed me how to actually cook tortillas (with my hands haha) then she gave us some tacos and quesadillas and they were so good! It was carne asada (: In English class Miguel brought us some papusas which were also incredible. Tuesday we had exchanges! I stayed in Farmersville with Sister Richardson and we had a couple lessons.
We had lunch with this guy named Ricardo who is extremely nice. He opened up with us a lot and was interested in what we had to say and how we can receive hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ. On Thursday we had 6 lessons planned after lunch so that was kind of insane but awesome and we even skipped dinner and didn't even realize it haha.
Saturday after soccer was FRANCISCO'S BAPTISM! It was amazing and he asked Hermana Bean and I specifically to speak at his baptism which was so sweet. On Sunday he was confirmed a member and received the Holy Ghost. It was so special! I also gave a talk on Sunday. Miracle moment- I was practicing on the way to the church and my pronunciation was not the best but I prayed a lot and my talk went really well and Francisco even told Hna Bean that it sounds like I have been speaking for a long time which made me happy.
Elder McKnight and I are working on a musical number for Facebook so that's cool and Hna Bean is playing piano.

September 20, 2021 Plano, Texas Week 8-El fútbol con el Barrio!
Holaaa
Holaaa
This week was pretty good! I have been told that my emails are really long sooo I will make them shorter, sorry about that😂
We drove to Tyler on Thursday for a doctor appt and we got to try Stanley's which apparently is known for having the second best barbeque in the U.S.
Guess what?? Remember Francisco? We have been teaching him and he's getting baptized this Saturday! He has already asked when he can speak in church which is awesome.
We had another lesson with Ramón, the guy who bashed us for two hours last week. When we walked inside he gave us the biggest smile which was incredible and I could just tell he had a change of heart after reading the Book of Mormon. He had so many questions for us and it was a really good conversation.
We were also going to speak in the Chinese Ward on Sunday but they decided to reschedule it! We also got to work on a farm this week and help Irma clean up her yard! We taught English class again and apparently I draw very good heartbeats so shout out to my dad for teaching me all about the heart haha!
Our ward plays soccer every Saturday and holy cow it was so fun!! I assisted a header goal which was pretty sweet and met lots of people!
Welp everything is good! Still biking a ton! Did 21 miles on Saturday uphill whoop whoop. Love you all talk to you soon!

September 13, 2021 Plano, Texas-Week 7-Plano, Texas
Hola hola!
Texas is amazing. Not at all what I was expecting but it's sooo Green and beautiful! It's like the best of Spokane (trees/green) and Saint George (the heat) combined! My first thought in the plane was wow there are a lot of pools. Fun fact there are also lots of bunnies, squirrels, and fireflies! I'm in Plano right now and we bike everywhere! We have a car but try to save miles. Guess how many miles we biked in 5 days... yeah that's right 76miles! Whoop whoop. I only tripped over my bike once and have been doing so good, hitting no mailboxes... if you know, you know. Mi compañera es Hermana Bean! She's such a good trainer and is always prepared. I've learned a lot from her and I love when she tells Bible stories because it's like a one woman show and she pretends to have swords haha.
I've met so many incredible people this week. One of them we are 90% sure is one of the nephites. He travels everywhere and is just so sweet. He fed us dinner one night and taught us some archeology which was so cool. The people here are amazing. My favorite is biking through the park and everyone saying good morning to one another and we get to pet so many dogs it's the best.
We teach English classes twice a week and it's so fun. We get to help them while they teach us new words in Spanish. After one of the classes we mentioned teaching about our book of Mormon after class if anyone would like to stay and 12 people stayed! They also took the rest of our book of Mormons that we left on the table which was awesome. Apparently my last name is also really hard to pronounce haha.
On my second day Hermana Bean said we had to teach a piano lesson and she forgot because her old companion knew how to play so props to her because she does her best to teach the kids everytime while I talk to the parents haha. There's this girl in our ward named Fritzy who is preparing for her mission in Spain and she did a lesson with me once with Alejandro while Hna Bean taught piano.
Also fun fact my first kind of lesson we got bashed for two hours. It definitely taught me perspective because after I was like wow that was rough and Hna Bean was like holy cow that was amazing!! She compared it to King Lamoni because this guy we met was so set on what he knew showing us his research from the past 5 years. He pointed to his map saying "if you can show me one reason why this is true then I will get rid of all I have. All my research." He took our book of Mormon and said he is going to research it.

This week was stake conference so I got to meet lots of people and President and Sister Seitz were both there and shared their testimonies! We have a friend who has been coming to our church activities too! His name is Francisco and him and our friend Ever (forever) have both taught me some words in Spanish and everyone is so understanding towards us learning the language. Also sorry, I've been focusing on speaking Spanish that now my English grammar isn't the best haha.
We also were just called to be Sunday Studies teachers. We're in charge of a spanish Facebook page and we get to make 10min high quality videos every week and answer questions so we'll see how that goes woo-hoo!
Well I don't want to take too much of your time but I am so grateful for all of you. I know God has a plan and there's a reason for me to be here right now and there's a reason for where you are at right now. It's incredible to see the hope that people receive after we explain the plan of happiness and how they can see their family again. There is reason for everything! Love you all!
