May 16. Mount Pleasant to Farmersville, Texas Week 42 STL? Transfer News
¡Hola hola todos!
Transfer news came! Sis Hornberger is staying with Hermana Tanner and Sister Rudd and Sister Bruce are staying as a duo now. Para mí... remember Farmersville? That's where I'm headed with Hermana Murphy!! It'a a bilingual area and I'm going to be a Sister Training Leader!! I'm SUPER pumped!! I also get to go on exchanges with the sisters in Plano (my old area). I can't wait!!! I also get to see my friends at transfers YAY. Here's how the rest of the week went...
ALICIA
We finally got a lesson in with Alicia and Sister Bonney. We talked about the power of the Holy Ghost and taking those next steps with your faith. I asked her what she thinks the next step is and she said baptism and that was music to our ears. We talked about the importance of the sacrament and attending church. That went really well!
SAÚL
He's moving to Mexico this Friday but he wants to meet with the missionaries there which will be an exciting step for him!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
This week when I was praying for an answer during my personal study I found a quote in my journal I had never actually read before. It said "I have a plan in store for you" and there was a scripture reference in Jeremiah that talked about peace through God and His eternal plan for us. So powerful!
I know there's a reason for everything. He listens to us and He hears what we have to say. I also love every single one of you and I know our Heavenly Father does as well.
I love y'all so much.

May 2, 2022 Mount Pleasant, Texas Week 40-Mi Testimonio
¡Buenas Tardes!
This week was unbelievable. I've never recognized the goodness of God more in my life than now. As I've been teaching the children of God around me I have seen them go through pain, sorrow, and heavy burdens. But this week I have learned that God can do anything and when you have enough faith, it will happen. Let me tell you a little story...
EL MAESTRO DE ESPAÑOL
Y'all remember Saúl? He has been teaching us Spanish for the last 3 months. He comes to church almost every week to listen to us give talks in church or share our testimonies to help us improve in our Spanish. This week we gave him some feedback for his presentation in school. We even said a prayer with him and he recognized those blessings. We asked if we could call him again to talk more about the power of prayer. He said yes and we continued to call him the next couple days teaching him about the restored gospel of Jesus christ and the plan of salvation(: guess what this means? We are offcially teaching Saúl and he is receiving answers to his prayers.
EL BAUTISMO
On Saturday our friend Barbara was baptized. The sisters had been teaching her for a while and she was so ready to take that next step closer to Jesus Christ and this is where the story continues... we felt like Saúl had to be there and there was no other option. He politely declined the invitation earlier, due to homework, but we gave him another call. On FB it rings for forever so we almost gave up but then decided "3 more rings." You guessed it, he answered on the THIRD ring. After a lot of convincing he decided to get up and ready to come to the baptism. We said lots of prayers as the program started and we both knew he would be there.
EL SUSPENSO
The baptism continued and Barbara was SO happy. They ended up having to redo it to make sure it was done correctly. Sis. Hornberger and I looked at each other and said "there's a reason saúl still has to be here." Everyone left the room preparing for the next portion and we both had felt like Saúl was going to witness the baptism...
¡¡EL MILAGRO!!
The sisters came back into the room and said "they have to do it again." I know, I was shocked too. They wanted to make sure it was done correctly and needed to fill the water back up. We ran outside and waited 5 more mins until Saúl got there and we ran back in and HE MADE IT. He even asked us questions and stayed longer than anticipated.
Y'all oh my goodness I'm sorry this is a long email but this is just a portion of our week. GOD IS SO GOOD. He sends us angels and he sends us comfort from the heavens and from the people around us. I am so blessed for the people I have met here in Texas. The members, friends, and other missionaries here have changed my life and continue to change it every day. I know God is real and He knows you.
Have a blessed week!
Con amor,
Hermana Cutler
P.s. A lady at bingo said to her friend "why do you look so sad? You should be happy!" And that has stuck with me since.

-we got creative with language study. We played Guess Who and Headbands in spanish(:
